Steele Street Cafe is now owned and operated by Mark and Nancy Lane but the building has a rich history! The previous owners of the building are Ralph and Vivian Monger. Mrs. Monger's mother, Mrs. Oliver, had a dress shop in the building and Vivian recalls playing there as a child at the age of three! The building burned down in 1927 and they rebuilt in 1929 and it was in their family all those years until Mark & Nancy opened the Coffee & Wine Bar!

Nancy previously owned a wedding gown shop in Cary and sold the business in 2008, to begin this new venture, Nancy still however is photographing weddings with her team of outstanding photographers, to view her work please go to www.simplycreativephotography.com
